While half the sporting genre cries out for reinvention, the WWE 2K series has turned itself into one of the most fun, replayable sims around. Going hands-on with WWE 2K25 hours before this year's Royal Rumble is therefore an experience I've been excited about for weeks.

As the WWE 2K brand begin their promotional tour of the new WWE 2K25 game, early footage of The Rock's entrance has left fans excited.

WWE 2K25, the next installment of 2K's wrestling game series, just publicly demonstrated its new Intergender match type and its Anoa'i family-focused Showcase mode, courtesy of The New Day.
