J.J. Spaun delivered a finish to remember on his way to winning the 2025 US Open. The 34-year-old holed a 64-foot putt on the 18th hole at Oakmont Country Club to win the season's third major with a one-under score.

Scottie Scheffler and Jon Rahm fought to find their form at the U.S. Open. The top-ranked Scheffler made “silly mistakes” over the first two rounds but posted even-par 70s on both Saturday and Sunday.

The winner of the 2025 U.S. Open will take home a hefty paycheck of $4.3 million, the same amount as last year's winner Bryson DeChambeau.

The U.S. Open turned into a sprint through the soggy fairways of Oakmont on Sunday following a downpour that caused a delay of 1 hour, 37 minutes as Sam Burns tried to hold off Adam Scott for his first major.

The Masters champion has had five birdies and three bogeys and looks poised to card his first under-par round at Oakmont at the sixth attempt (stretching back to the 2016 tournament). He's currently tied for 35th. Each of this quartet leads the field in at least one metric through three rounds.

Wyndham Clark reportedly damaged lockers at Oakmont Country Club after missing the U.S. Open cut, following a similar frustration incident at the PGA Championship.

The event will be back on schedule for the final day, after a weather delay suspended play in the second round on Friday and forced an early morning on Saturday to finish out the round. The third round was also pushed back from its originally scheduled start as a result, but finished on Saturday evening.

Scheffler missed from 11 feet for birdie on the seventh as well. It's a weird round so far as he's playing OK but just lacking that spark, which given it's the US Open and he's still in striking distance, is odd.
