Sal Frelick and Brice Turang homered off Paul Skenes, and the Milwaukee Brewers pounded the Pittsburgh Pirates 14-0 on Tuesday night for their 11th consecutive victory. Christian Yelich, Andrew Vaughn and Caleb Durbin also went deep as major-league-leading Milwaukee improved to 27-5 in its past 32 games.

The win improved the Brewers' MLB-best record to 75-44 as they've emerged from the All-Star break as the best team in baseball. They're now 20-4 in the second half of the season and have a 7.5-game lead over the Chicago Cubs in the NL Central.

The longest winning streak for the Brewers in franchise history is 13, which happened to start the 1987 season. This current 11-game winning streak ties, obviously, the 11-game streak that just happened and then another 11-gamer in 2021 for the second-longest.
