No. 8 seed Oregon lost to No. 1 seed Michigan State 74-64 in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten tournament. Oregon coach Dana Altman and center Nate Bittle spoke after the game. Below is a transcript of Oregon’s postgame press conference on Friday.

Oregon is preparing for their matchup on Thursday in Indianapolis against Indiana, whom they defeated just last week in Eugene. Following that game, an Indiana player expressed dissatisfaction with the officiating. During the media session, Altman made it clear that he has no intention of retiring, reassuring Duck fans that he plans to stay put.

“I’m not retiring,” Altman said Monday morning. “If the school — if Rob (Mullens) and the (university) president (John Karl Scholz), if they decide it’s my time, it’s my time. But guys, I love coming to work every day. As long as I’m healthy and my family’s healthy, I’d like to coach.
