Rapp has been open about her sexuality and came out on Saturday Night Live while performing on the variety sketch show during Season 49. While at the time she identified as bisexual, she admitted on Good Hang With Amy Poehler that she felt “very much lesbian” after going over sketch ideas and having a conversation with her girlfriend.

Special Victims Unit is set to return this fall on NBC for season 27, with Mariska Hargitay's Captain Olivia Benson once again leading the way, along with Ice-T's Fin Tutuola and the full-time return of Kelli Giddish's Amanda Rollins.

During a recent appearance on Today to promote her latest studio album, Bite Me, Reneé Rapp revealed that the only role that would tempt her away from her unofficial acting hiatus would be a guest spot on her favorite TV show, Law & Order: SVU.
