California Gov. Gavin Newsom reportedly will veto a bill that would block his state’s prison system from cooperating with ICE, a report says.

Gov. Newsom's office said he would again veto a bill that sought to restrict state prison officials' cooperation with federal immigration authorities seeking to deport felons.

Under new bill AB 15, the California prison system would be unable to hold someone in custody based off a request from ICE. The system would also be prohibited from transferring individuals to ICE
