Between stunts and interactions with the general public (including "well-hydrated" and opposing fans), they often find themselves in precarious positions, but Seattle Kraken mascot Buoy experience a different level of danger on a recent fishing trip with forward John Hayden.

Kraken forward John Hayden and Buoy, the team’s blue-haired troll mascot, had a close call with a grizzly bear during a promotional video shoot in Alaska.

The team was filming "experiential content” of Buoy and Kraken forward John Hayden in the scenic Alaskan wilderness, when the bear gave the team some different content than they would’ve expected.
