In another hit to the Dodgers' rotation, right-hander Tyler Glasnow was placed on the 15-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation ahead of Monday night's opener against the Marlins. Righty reliever Noah Davis was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City as the corresponding move.

Tyler Glasnow was placed on the injured list Monday with what the Dodgers described as shoulder inflammation, joining fellow frontline starter Blake Snell, who has been sidelined by a similar injury.

After giving up two runs in the first inning against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday, Glasnow was removed from the game with what the Dodgers later called right shoulder discomfort. He went out for his warm up pitches before summoning manager Dave Roberts and a trainer. He then left the game and was replaced by Ben Casparius .
