The First Alert Weather Team is tracking a warm & breezy start to the weekend, which will give way to storms Sunday afternoon.

A strong cold front will move in late Sunday into early Monday morning. This front will bring showers and thunderstorms. We have declared Sunday evening through early Monday morning as an ABC7 First Alert Weather Day.

WHAT TO EXPECT: Supercell thunderstorms will fire up across SW Mississippi late Saturday morning. They will then move into the Pine Belt around lunchtime and linger through the afternoon hours. The highest risk for tornadoes will be along the I-20 & I-59 corridors in Mississippi & western Alabama.
