Aaron Glenn has taken on the role of head coach for the New York Jets, a team he once played for as a star cornerback.

Aaron Glenn woke up ahead of his first Jets training camp practice around 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday. He has been preparing for this moment since he was the Saints ‘ defensive backs coach (2016-20). Glenn’s wife, Devaney, sent an encouraging text message to the coach on his first day of training camp.

The New York Jets appear to have avoided the worst in terms of the injury update for quarterback Justin Fields. Fields was carted off the field because of an injury on Thursday, the second day of the team's 2025 training camp. According to reports, Fields' foot was stepped on leading to a lower-body knock.
