Red Sox CEO Sam Kennedy has been on the record since late last year, saying there is urgency within the organization to have an aggressive offseason and sign some of the top free agents. Kennedy recently spoke at a Fenway Park event on Monday and is keeping the door open for potential additions.

Ryan Brasier will still wear blue next season, just for a different team. The pitcher was traded to the Chicago Cubs from the Los Angeles Dodgers on Tuesday night, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported. Los Angeles received a player to be named later or cash in the deal.

The Boston Red Sox have been in rumors all offseason to this point. Some of those rumors led to actual deals, like Garrett Crochet and Walker Buehler. The vast
