Wipro Ltd is contributing INR 100 crore, Wipro Enterprises INR 25 crore, and chairman Azim Premji's philanthrophic foundation is contributing 1,000 crore.

Azim Premji, one of the stalwarts of the Indian IT industry, is credited for diversifying Wipro, originally a manufacturer of vegetable and refined oils in Amalner, district Jalgaon in Maharashtra.

India and US-based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform Icertis is the latest startup to join the unicorn club following a funding from Azim Premji’s Premji Invest and US-based VC firm Greycroft.
