The Tennessee Titans defeated the Atlanta Falcons, 23-20, in Week 2 of the preseason after a back-and-forth battle.
Offensively, a slow night turned into a wildly exciting third quarter. The Falcons scored 17 points to open the second half but were shut out in the fourth quarter. Undrafted free agent running back Nate Carter rushed for 63 yards on nine carries, including a 43-yard touchdown to get the Falcons back in the game.
It could've been better for Cam Ward in Game 2 of the preseason, but the best throw by the Titans' rookie quarterback wasn't caught.
