Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton won Tuesday in the quarterfinals of the National Bank Open, setting up the first all-American semifinal in an ATP Masters 1000 tournament in 15 years.

World no. 4 Taylor Fritz will compete in his seventh Masters 1000 semi-final in Toronto. The American faced Andrey Rublev for the tenth time in the quarter-final and earned a 6-3, 7-6 victory in an hour and 21 minutes.

Fritz, who sits fourth in the ATP Tour rankings and lost last year’s U.S. Open final to world No. 1 Jannik Sinner, will next face No. 4 Ben Shelton after his countryman also surged through to the semis by topping No. 9 Alex de Minaur of Australia 6-3, 6-4.
