After more than a year of speculation, Apple TV+ has ordered a fourth season of its Emmy-winning comedy Ted Lasso. The pickup comes after co-creator and star Jason Sudeikis closed a deal to reprise his role as the title character, the manager of the fictional AFC Richmond soccer club in London.

On March 14, Apple TV+ confirmed that Ted Lasso will return for Season 4. Jason Sudeikis, who co-created the show with Brendan Hunt, Joe Kelly, and Bill Lawrence, will reprise his role and serve as an executive producer in the upcoming installment as well.

AppleTV+ announced on Friday that the streamer’s Emmy-winning comedy “Ted Lasso” is set to make its much-dreamt-about return with Season 4.
