Max Verstappen won the first race of the post-Christian Horner era at Red Bull, beating the McLarens of Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the sprint in Belgium.

New Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies stressed that four-time Formula One champion Max Verstappen is "central" to the project of bringing the team back to the top.
