After a day of peaceful protests in Los Angeles, tensions mounted as law enforcement moved to disperse the crowd.

Though many of the demonstrations have been peaceful, clashes between law enforcement officers and demonstrators have led to hundreds of arrests in the Los Angeles area since Friday.
