It’s one of the region’s most-popular cultural events - and Lumiere will light up the night skies once more in 2025.

Lumiere Durham 2025 will take place over three evenings this autumn, from Thursday, November 13 to Saturday, November 15, 2025.

About 160,000 people attended County Durham's Lumiere festival this year. The light festival took place over four nights and saw 120,000 people receive free tickets to the art exhibition.

The dates have been announced for the return of much-loved Durham light festival Lumiere which will be back in the autumn with another array of dazzling artworks making up a trail around the city.
