Joe Rogan said former aides to Kamala Harris lied when they claimed in a new book that the Spotify podcaster refused to make time for the ex-vice president during the election campaign because he instead preferred to interview President Donald Trump.

Missing the show just weeks before Election Day was considered by some analysts as a major setback for Harris's White House bid.

Harris did not appear on the podcast during the campaign. President Donald Trump, then running for office, did sit down with Rogan for three hours, a broadcast that garnered more than 50 million views on Facebook.
