The Browns open their preseason on Friday night, and if we’ve learned anything about this current regime, it’s that preseason performances can be a little hit-and-miss when it comes to determining who makes the roster and who doesn’t.

And fifth-rounder Shedeur Sanders was listed fourth.  On the surface, this looks like doom and gloom for Sanders, who was projected to be selected in the first few rounds of the draft but instead fell deep into Day 3 and was the second quarterback drafted by his own team.
