The Chicago Sky went 2-8 in July and find themselves on a six-game losing streak. Star forward Angel Reese missed three of the team’s 10 games this month due to a back injury, including their matchup against the Indiana Fever on Sunday.

Angel Reese pushed through a back injury to notch her 11th straight double-double, explaining why she refuses to let pain keep her off the court.

Angel Reese does not appear to have missed a beat in her injury absence. The second-year forward secured a double-double after missing the previous two games with a back injury. Unfortunately, it was not enough to lead her team to victory as the Chicago Sky fell 103-86 to the Washington Mystics.
