Michigan basketball head man Dusty May takes a subtle jab at the refs after a 30-minute overtime. The Wolverines were victorious, but many were questioning the refs after the extra round took over 30 minutes to complete.

“We’ve got to fix some things,” May said. “We’ve got to find some solutions to the problems that we face.”

Dusty May had an interesting comparison for Michigan’s home crowd based on the intensity during the 76-72 win over Penn State.

Donaldson found Roddy Gayle for a dunk to spark the final push, and after a Penn State turnover at the other end, he managed to corral a loose-ball offensive rebound thanks to Will Tschetter’s heads-up effort in the paint. Donaldson then knocked down a mid-range jumper to cut the lead to 72-71, and suddenly the home crowd was on its feet roaring.

Michigan had a tough time putting Penn State away, even when the Nittany Lions were throwing the ball away. During one sequence, an errant pass by Rubin Jones led to a pull-up 3-pointer by Ace Baldwin in transition, cutting the lead to 57-54. On Michigan’s next two possessions, Wolf missed close-range shots at the rim.
