The Los Angeles Chargers are one of the quietest teams in the NFL right now. Not that Chargers fans would complain about the relaxing offseason process – there is zero coaching drama to speak of, plenty of cap space and a great free agency and draft outlook with plenty of assets to spend on rebuilding an ahead-of-schedule roster.

When asked about Bosa’s cap hit and future with the team, general manager Joe Hortiz said, “Those are the things we’re discussing right now.” Hortiz added that it is “possible” they keep him on his current cap hit.

Bosa and Mack teamed to help the Chargers become the NFL’s stingiest defense in 2024, giving up an average of only 17.7 points.

No months-long deliberation will commence for Khalil Mack. After the Chargers’ wild-card defeat in Houston, Mack indicated he would ponder retirement. That process is now over, and the veteran edge rusher will test free agency for the first time.
