Canadian star Carson Branstine took to social media to complain about the electronic line call system, following a controversial point that disadvantaged her during her match against Maria Sakkari.
'I know that she's super pretty,' Sabalenka said with a laugh when asked about Monday's opponent, 24-year-old Carson Branstine. 'The other day I opened social media, and she was giving an interview.
Branstine, 24, is a dual U.S.-Canadian citizen -- she was born in California and represents Canada, where her mother is from -- and helped Texas A&M win the 2024 NCAA title.
