Yosemite is the focus of an updated winter storm warning issued at 4:56 a.m. on Wednesday by the National Weather Service. The warning is in effect until Thursday, Mar. 13 at 11 p.m.

Forecasters warned heavy snow could make roads slick and reduce visibility, making travel in some areas "very difficult to impossible."

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for Coconino County through 5 p.m. March 7. Heavy snow was expected above 5,000 feet. Total snow accumulations between 1 and 12 inches were expected.

Los Angeles County is under an updated winter storm warning which was issued by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 2:50 a.m. The warning is valid from 4 p.m. until Saturday, Mar. 15 at 5

On Tuesday at 9:45 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated winter storm warning valid from Wednesday 4 p.m. until Saturday, Mar. 15 at 5 a.m. for San Bernardino County Mountains.

On Monday at 2 p.m. a winter storm warning was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until Thursday, Mar. 13 at 11 p.m. for the Greater Lake Tahoe Area.

Los Angeles County was placed under an updated winter storm warning by the National Weather Service on Wednesday at 2:50 a.m. The warning is valid from 4 p.m. until Saturday, Mar. 15 at 5 a.m.
