Pierce was hired as the Raiders linebackers coach in 2022 under then-head coach Josh McDaniels. In October 2023, Pierce was named interim head coach after McDaniels was fired. In January 2024, he was officially named the Raiders head coach.

The Las Vegas Raiders are in search of their next head coach once again after firing Antonio Pierce earlier this week. Two days later, the Raiders fired general manager Tom Telesco.
