The Maui community is mourning the loss of Officer Suzanne O, who was gunned down in the line of duty on Friday, Aug. 15.

PAIA (HawaiiNewsNow) - Maui police have identified the suspect allegedly responsible for shooting and killing Maui police officer Suzanne O in Paia. Clembert Kaneholani, 38, is currently being held without bail. His charges include murder in the first degree, attempted murder in the second degree and two felon in possession of ammunition.

The Maui Police Department has identified the officer shot Friday night while responding to a terroristic threatening call in Paia as Suzanne O.
