Brazilian side Botafogo pulled off the biggest surprise of the tournament so far with a 1-0 victory over European champions Paris St-Germain at the Club World Cup. Striker Igor Jesus, 24, scored in the first half when his strike from outside the area deflected off defender Willian Pacho and past goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Botafogo stunned Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain 1-0 on Thursday night in each club's second match of the Club World Cup. Igor Jesus scored late in the first half, and the South American champions made it stand up through a tense second half while moving atop the group at 2-0-0.
