Daredevil: Born Again was originally planned to have 18 episodes in total when it was first announced, but following a creative rehaul mid-shoot, this got split into two seasons. Currently, a third season hasn't been announced, but it seems Winderbaum is hopeful.

According to returning Matt Murdock actor Charlie Cox, the original iteration of “Born Again” suffered from an identity crisis. “It was a little bit confusing,” Cox told Entertainment Weekly about the series’ initially unclear connections to its Netflix predecessor. “It was too, ‘Is it the show or is it not the show?’”

Born Again is set to premiere on JioHotstar on March 5, the release window for the second season has been revealed by the executive producer for the series and Marvel's Head of Television, Brad Winderbaum.
