What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation in Puerto Rico for former NBA player Danilo Gallinari and his wife Eleonora Boi quickly took a scary turn. Just a few days ago, Boi revealed that she was attacked by a shark while at a beach near Puerto Rico's Carolina Resort.

Former NBA player Danilo Gallinari's pregnant wife, Eleonora Boi, was recently bitten by a shark during their time in Puerto Rico.

The AHL player was cut by a fellow player's skate during a game in December 2024 and received 25 stitches. His father, New Jersey Devils general manager Tom Fitzgerald later told ESPN after his son was fully recovered, "We're very lucky. I don't wish that on any parent."
