The California Western Railroad, also known as the Skunk Train, took the 10th and final spot in a USA Today list of the “Best Scenic Train Ride (2025),” released in May.

The historic Strasburg Rail Road is currently facing stiff competition for the title of "Best Scenic Train Ride," as decided by voters on USA Today's website.

A new ranking from USA Today's 10Best series holds one central Pennsylvania railroad in high regard, naming it the second best train ride in the United States.
