Amtrak has launched a new 'Nextgen Acela' service on the Northeast Corridor, bringing trains that hit up to 160 mph to commuters along the east coast.
NextGen Acela train service offers premium travel with free Wi-Fi, USB ports and 27% more seats on the Washington-New York-Boston corridor.
The new Acela trains were built in the U.S. at Alstom's Hornell, New York facility and include components from 180 suppliers in 29 states.
