Gene Hackman and wife Betsy Arakawa's dog Zinna sadly died of dehydration and starvation, according to an official report from the Santa Fe County animal control agency

Betsy Arakawa’s body was found on a bathroom floor, roughly 10 to 15 feet from where Zinna’s remains were found in a crate.

The deceased dog was found in the home with the bodies of the actor and his wife, Betsy Arakawa. The couple’s two other dogs had survived.
