The US Department of Agriculture announced this week that it will stop funding wind and solar energy on American farmland, a move that continues the Trump administration’s attempts to kill incentives for renewables while it boosts support for fossil fuels and land-hungry, energy inefficient biofuels.

The USDA secretary was the keynote speaker at Wilson County – Tennessee State Fair's Future Farmers of America's Ham Breakfast that drew around 1,200.

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins has announced that USDA will no longer fund taxpayer dollars for solar panels on productive farmland or allow solar panels manufactured by foreign adversaries to be used in USDA projects.
