The National Weather Service projects up to 2 inches of combined ice and snow across much of the area, with higher amounts possible locally.

The torrid weather of the weekend has continued into this week with much of the UK seeing snow, sleet and ice. Four new yellow weather warnings for ice have been issued by the Met Office for today. These warnings are in place for Wales,
