Days after battling No. 7 LSU down to the wire, Oklahoma found itself in the midst of another SEC fight. The No. 13-ranked Sooners hosted No. 12 Kentucky on Sunday, which marked OU’s fifth ranked matchup already in conference play.

Oklahoma (16-5, 3-5) defeated No. 24 Vanderbilt (16-5, 4-4) 97-67 Saturday afternoon in the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman. The victory was OU’s third in SEC play and also its largest margin of victory in conference play. The Sooners completely turned the game on its head in the second half, outscoring Vanderbilt 61-27 in the period.
