Police have lined up four rows deep to pay respects to a fellow officer who was among the victims of a gunman's rampage at a Manhattan office tower.

A New York City police officer who was among the four people shot and killed by a gunman during a rampage at a Manhattan office tower will be laid to rest Thursday. Officer Didarul Islam, 36, was fatally shot Monday in a midtown building housing the National Football League’s headquarters.

Roger Goodell was emotional on Thursday as he publicly addressed the deadly shooting that took place inside 345 Park Avenue, the building that houses the NFL’s New York offices, earlier this week.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell expressed sorrow following the deadly shooting at a New York City office building that left four people dead and another wounded, calling it a “senseless” act.

Goodell stayed in New York to attend the funeral of Didarul Islam, the NYPD officer who was one of four people killed earlier this week.
