Jack White, Metallica, Rob Zombie, Elton John and more paid tribute to Ozzy Osbourne after the Black Sabbath frontman died at 76 on Tuesday morning. Osbourne had been recovering from several spinal surgeries as well as his ongoing battle with Parkinson's disease.

Former Metallica bassist Jason Newsted, who moved to Jupiter, recalled touring with Ozzy Osbourne after he quit the heavy metal band.

In an emotional tribute, rock titans Metallica say the late Ozzy Osbourne "transformed our lives and careers" along with his wife, Sharon Osbourne.

The legendary frontman of Black Sabbath died just weeks after sharing an emotional farewell with fans at Villa Park.

Osbourne pioneered heavy metal with Black Sabbath before going on to have huge success in his own right. He was known for hits including Iron Man, Paranoid, War Pigs, Crazy Train and Changes, both with the band and as a solo star.
