Assemblyman Eddie Gibbs, a Democrat from East Harlem, says he spent a night inside Marcy Correction Facility this week, speaking with incarcerated individuals.

It's been six weeks since the death of Robert Brooks, an inmate at Marcy Correctional Facility in upstate New York. Protesters in Brooklyn called for the officers accused of brutally beating Brooks to be arrested and charged in his death.
