Rapper Lil Nas X was arrested and taken to the hospital after he was seen roaming down a street in Los Angeles early Thursday morning, nearly naked, sources told ABC News on Thursday.

Police say rapper Lil Nas X has been jailed on suspicion of misdemeanor obstructing a police officer after a run-in with police in Los Angeles.

Around 5:50 a.m., LAPD officers responded to Ventura Boulevard and Vineland Avenue for a man walking in the street.

Earlier this week, Lil Nas X wiped his Instagram clean before sharing teasers of new music, including a clip titled “Black Horse” and another with Lil Jon called “Kimbo.” His return to social media came after several months of silence, following an April hospitalization for partial facial paralysis.

Lil Nas X was arrested Thursday morning in Los Angeles, according L.A. County Sheriff inmate records. He is being held in Van Nuys' Valley Jail.
