Hart is at the center of hardwood controversy following the Knicks' 94-93 win over the Detroit Pistons in Game 3 of the two sides' Eastern Conference quarterfinal set: the Knicks erased a second half deficit that reached as high as 11 en route to victory.

The Detroit Pistons hosted the New York Knicks on Sunday in a pivotal Game 4 of their first-round NBA playoff series. After a back-and-forth battle, the Knicks pulled out a 94-93 win that ended in controversy. The Pistons had the ball on the final possession, trailing by one with star point guard Cade Cunningham in control.

The 30-year-old Hart had a career season with New York. Maturation and self-realization helped make that happen.

Former New York Knicks great Dick Barnett has died at the age of 88, the team announced on Sunday. He helped the team to two championships.

The Basketball Hall of Famer, inducted in 2024, helped the New York Knicks win NBA titles in 1970 and 1973. Dick Barnett also won three NAIA titles.
