Ghislaine Maxwell, a convicted sex trafficker and accomplice to Jeffrey Epstein, was moved to a federal prison in Texas, according to media reports. Maxwell was moved to minimum-security Federal Prison Camp Bryan from a low-security prison in Tallahassee, Florida, a Federal Bureau of Prisons official told USA Today Friday .

Maxwell, who was the only person convicted in connection with the sex trafficking ring operated by the late financier Epstein, met last week with officials from the Department of Justice as the Trump administration tries to deal with a backlash over its failure to release the so-called “ Epstein files. ”
