Jakob Marsee hit two home runs, doubled and drove in seven runs, Graham Pauley and Xavier Edwards also homered and the Miami Marlins beat the Cleveland Guardians 13-4 on Wednesday night to snap a four-game skid.

The fact that Miami center fielder Jakob Marsee had a career performance of his own is a good indication of how things went for Williams and the Guardians. Marsee hit two homers and drove in a career-high seven runs as the Marlins stalled the Guardians’ revival with a 13-4 victory at Progressive Field.

Jakob Marsee is the seventh Marlins player to drive in seven runs in a game, the first since Adam Duvall on April 13, 2021.
