Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark's arrival in the WNBA set the basketball world on fire from a cultural standpoint. Unfortunately, a youthful Fever team had a tough time rising to that occasion on the court.

Bonner joined the Fever on a one-year deal. She spent the last five seasons with the Sun, where she averaged 15.9 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.2 steals per game. The 37-year-old also had three All-Star selections as a member of the Connecticut franchise.

Caitlin Clark, DeWanna Bonner clashed on the court last season in the playoffs. Now, they're Indiana Fever teammates with similar 'competitive fire.'

The Indiana Fever introduced DeWanna Bonner as their newest player on Monday. The former Fairfield High School and Auburn star signed with the Fever as a WNBA free agent.
